26.3 "Desktop Edition" Changes
This T2/Linux release marks a significant milestone: For the first time, a consistently, fully reproducible, cross-compiled modern Wayland-based KDE Plasma experience is delivered not only on x86-64 and ARM64, but also on IA-64, PowerPC64/PowerPC64le, RISCV64 (incl RVA32 profile), UltraSPARC64, and i686. The Qt-based desktop stack has been carefully integrated, architecture-patched, and tested across little- and big-endian systems.
The result is a reproducible, modern Linux system spanning mainstream and RISC architectures alike. Combining a cutting-edge KDE Wayland desktop with T2's long-standing cross-platform support.
Of course all other desktop environments, including GNOME and Cosmic are optionally avialable to install, too.
The release was made possible by over 5700 changesets, over 7300 updates, nearly 600 issues fixed, over 400 packages or features added, some 150 removed, and 70 improvements by dozens of contributors.
The user is auto logged into the KDE Desktop, the default user and root password is "password".
The next step will be regular pre-compiled security and feature updates for the mainstream x86-64, arm64 and riscv64 architecutres for a easy to use and just working T2/Linux Desktop experience for every home and business use.
Of course all other CPU architectures -like Alpha, HPPA, MIPS, SuperH- remain supported and will continue to receive updates and new installer builds, too.

Known Issues
Due to the nature of all cross compiled base install ISOs, gobject-introspection is not installed by default and some packages need to be natively, locally rebuilt for some advanced gnome-desktop packages.
